At Nutter’s Gutters, we want to get your gutters flowing and your roof looking sharp as quickly as possible. To help us give you an accurate quote without the wait, we invite you to send us photos or videos and a quick “map view” of your property.
By following these simple steps, you help us see exactly what we’re working with, allowing us to quote faster and more accurately.
The quick ground photos
Safety First: Please stay on the ground! Your phone’s zoom is more than enough to show us what we need.
- The “whole house” shot: Stand back to capture the entire side of the house. This tells us if it’s single or double-storey and what the roof type is (e.g., Tile or Colorbond).
- The “gutter line”: Take a photo looking up along the length of the gutter. This helps us estimate how many metres of guttering we’ll be servicing.
- Trouble spots: Take a close-up snap or record a video of any leaking joints, “gutter gardens” (weeds), or overflowing downpipes.
The bird’s eye view
Can’t get a good angle of the whole roof? Use Google Maps! It’s the easiest way to show us the layout of your gutters.
Search: Open Google Maps and type in your address.
Switch View: Click the “Layers” or “Satellite” square in the bottom corner.
Screenshot: Centre your house on the screen and take a screenshot.
Mark it up: Use your phone’s or computer’s “edit” tool to draw a quick circle or line around the specific sections that need attention.
